Job Description

Rajputana Heritage Hotel, Jaipur is hiring a Front Desk Executive for its guest reception and check-in operations. Jaipur welcomes over 5 million tourists annually, creating consistent demand for hotel front desk professionals. This role is entry level and open to candidates with a hotel management diploma or degree. Experienced candidates from other hotels in Jaipur are also considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests at arrival — check-in procedures, room key issuance, and property orientation
  • Process check-out — bill settlement, room inspection coordination, and guest feedback collection
  • Handle reservations via the hotel property management system — new bookings, modifications, and cancellations
  • Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness status before check-in
  • Manage guest requests during stay — room service coordination, tour bookings, transport arrangements
  • Handle complaints with composure — escalate unresolved issues to the duty manager
  • Maintain front desk records — daily occupancy reports, cash and card settlement logs

Who Can Apply

  • Hotel Management diploma or degree — BHM, DHM, or equivalent from a recognised institution
  • Freshers from hotel management colleges are welcome to apply
  • Good spoken English — many guests are domestic and international tourists
  • Well-groomed and professionally presented — front desk is the public face of the hotel
  • Comfortable working in rotational shifts including nights and weekends — hotels operate 24 hours a day

Shift Timings

Three rotational shifts: Morning 7 AM to 3 PM, Afternoon 3 PM to 11 PM, Night 11 PM to 7 AM. Night shift differential of Rs 1,500 per month. Weekly off on rotational basis.

Salary and Benefits

Monthly salary Rs 13,000 to Rs 19,000 based on qualification and language skills. Service charge participation from hotel revenue. Staff meals during shift. Uniform provided and maintained by the hotel. ESI and PF as per statutory requirements. Internal growth track from Front Desk Executive to Senior Front Desk to Duty Manager for consistent high performers.
