Responsibilities:

  • Review inpatient medical records and assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes
  • Ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry regulations

Requirements & Skills:

  • Active coding certification such as CIC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA, or equivalent

  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRG assignment, and reimbursement methodologies
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking abilities
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
