Sunrise Diagnostics, a NABL-accredited diagnostic centre in Jaipur, is hiring a Lab Technician for its pathology and sample processing department. This position is open to freshers holding a DMLT or BMLT qualification. You will work under the supervision of a senior pathologist and laboratory manager, handling sample collection, processing, and reporting for outpatient and hospital referral cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood, urine, and other biological samples from patients following standard phlebotomy procedures
• Label, sort, and process samples before analysis — centrifugation, aliquoting, and sample preparation
• Operate automated analysers for haematology, biochemistry, and urine analysis
• Enter test results accurately into the laboratory information system
• Flag critical values immediately to the duty pathologist as per lab protocol
• Maintain lab equipment — daily QC checks, cleaning, and calibration logs
• Follow biomedical waste disposal protocols strictly for all used samples and consumables

Qualifications Required

• DMLT or BMLT — mandatory
• Freshers with DMLT or BMLT are eligible — laboratory internship experience is an advantage but not required
• Registered with the Rajasthan Paramedical Council — preferred, not mandatory at joining
• Accurate, systematic, and calm under pressure — laboratory errors have direct clinical consequences

Work Schedule

Morning shift 7 AM to 3 PM. Evening shift 2 PM to 10 PM. Rotational shift on a monthly basis. Sunday working with a rotational weekday off — diagnostic centres operate seven days a week.

Salary and Benefits

Monthly salary Rs 13,000 to Rs 20,000 based on qualification level and practical skills assessed during the interview. BMLT holders are placed at the higher range. Lab coat and consumables provided by the centre. ESI and PF as per law. Performance appraisal at 12 months with salary revision. Growth track from Lab Technician to Senior Lab Technician within 18 to 24 months for consistent performers.
