What kind of work is this — data entry or customer service?

Both tracks are available and open for applications simultaneously. The data entry track involves processing seller listing forms, updating product catalogue records, and handling back-office seller account data. The customer service track involves handling buyer queries via phone and chat — order issues, returns, Prime membership questions, and device support. You will be assigned to one track based on your skills, communication strength, and your stated preference during the selection process.

Can freshers apply?

Yes. Amazon India actively recruits freshers for these roles and provides full paid training before you handle any live work. The training program is one week for the data entry track and two weeks for customer service. Both are paid from day one.
