Job Summary
Startup Inno is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Project Lead to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of wind and solar energy projects. This remote role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive projects from concept through commissioning. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable energy initiatives and supporting the global transition to clean energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management of wind and solar energy installations.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and regulatory teams.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international renewable energy regulations.
- Manage stakeholder relationships including clients, contractors, and government bodies.
- Monitor project performance, risks, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
- Oversee feasibility studies, site assessments, and environmental impact analyses.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution and sustainability practices.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of wind and solar energy systems and technologies.
- Proven project management expertise with knowledge of tools like MS Project or Primavera.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with sustainability standards and environmental regulations.
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in renewable energy project management.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale wind and/or solar projects.
- Experience working in international or cross-border project environments is an advantage.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Working Hours
- Flexible remote working model.
- Availability to collaborate across global time zones when required.
- Occasional travel may be required for site visits and stakeholder meetings.
