Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Remote Post-Production Sound Editor to join our creative media and digital production team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the audio quality of video, film, podcast, and multimedia projects after the initial recording phase. You will work closely with producers, video editors, and content creators to ensure that every project delivers clear, balanced, and immersive sound.

This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about audio storytelling, have strong technical expertise in sound editing tools, and can work effectively in a fully remote and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all audio elements meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and refine recorded audio tracks for videos, films, podcasts, and digital media content.

• Remove background noise, distortions, and unwanted sounds to ensure clean audio quality.

• Synchronize audio with video footage and ensure perfect timing with dialogue and sound effects.

• Mix and balance dialogue, music, and sound effects to create a professional audio experience.

• Add and edit sound effects, ambient sounds, and Foley where necessary.

• Collaborate with video editors, directors, and producers to understand project requirements and creative direction.

• Ensure consistent audio levels and sound quality across different platforms and formats.

• Export final audio tracks according to production and broadcast standards.

• Maintain organized audio libraries and project files for efficient workflow.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proficiency in professional audio editing software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of sound design, audio mixing, and post-production workflows.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong listening skills.

• Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines in a remote work environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in audio editing or post-production sound editing.

• Experience working on video productions, films, podcasts, commercials, or digital content.

• Prior experience in remote production workflows or distributed teams is an advantage.

• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous sound editing work is highly preferred.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working schedule.

• Standard commitment of 30–40 hours per week, depending on project requirements.

• Occasional deadline-based work may require schedule adjustments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Advanced knowledge of audio mixing, mastering, and restoration techniques.

• Familiarity with sound effects libraries and Foley production.

• Understanding of audio formats, codecs, and broadcast standards.

• Ability to troubleshoot audio quality issues efficiently.
