Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Part-Time Remote Legal Stenographer to support our legal and compliance teams with accurate and timely transcription services. This role involves capturing spoken legal proceedings, meetings, dictations, and documentation into precise written records. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional listening and typing abilities, a strong understanding of legal terminology, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality while working remotely.

As a key contributor to our legal documentation process, you will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of official records that support corporate legal operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe legal dictations, court-style proceedings, depositions, and meetings with high accuracy and speed.

• Convert audio recordings and live speech into clear, well-structured written documents.

• Review and proofread transcripts to ensure grammatical accuracy, completeness, and correct legal terminology.

• Maintain organized records of transcripts and legal documentation in secure digital systems.

• Collaborate with attorneys, legal analysts, and compliance teams to clarify terminology and context when required.

• Ensure strict confidentiality when handling sensitive legal materials and corporate information.

• Meet established deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of transcription quality.

• Format legal documents according to company and legal industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent stenography or fast typing skills with high accuracy.

• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and documentation standards.

• Proficiency in transcription software and word processing tools.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a legal stenographer, legal transcriptionist, or similar role.

• Prior experience working with law firms, legal departments, or corporate compliance teams is preferred.

• Familiarity with legal documentation formats, depositions, hearings, and legal correspondence is an advantage.

• Experience working remotely with digital transcription systems is beneficial.

Working Hours

• Part-Time Remote Position

• Flexible working schedule (approximately 15–25 hours per week).

• Availability during standard business hours for urgent transcription tasks may be required.
