Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Evening Shift Lab Support – Biochemistry professional to assist in maintaining the smooth operation of our biochemistry laboratory during evening hours. The ideal candidate will support laboratory scientists and technicians by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, managing samples, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

This role is essential to ensuring that laboratory processes run efficiently and accurately while supporting research, testing, and analysis activities. The position is ideal for individuals passionate about laboratory environments, scientific accuracy, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist laboratory scientists and technicians in routine biochemistry laboratory procedures and testing processes.

• Prepare laboratory equipment, glassware, and reagents required for experiments and testing.

• Receive, label, store, and track biological and chemical samples according to established protocols.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.

• Monitor laboratory inventory and report shortages of reagents, supplies, and consumables.

• Document laboratory activities, test results, and equipment usage accurately in laboratory records or digital systems.

• Support calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.

• Ensure adherence to laboratory safety procedures, chemical handling protocols, and waste disposal guidelines.

• Assist with quality control processes to maintain accurate and reliable laboratory results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and biochemical testing methods.

• Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling practices.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain accuracy in laboratory tasks.

• Good computer skills for data entry and laboratory information systems.

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in a laboratory support, research assistant, or laboratory technician role.

• Fresh graduates with strong academic training in biochemistry laboratory practices are encouraged to apply.

• Experience working in research labs, healthcare labs, or industrial testing labs will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours

• Evening shift schedule: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM depending on operational needs.

• Part-time or full-time opportunities may be available.

• Occasional weekend or holiday shifts may be required based on laboratory workload.
