Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Financial Bookkeeper – Agri-Tech to support the financial operations of our fast-growing agricultural technology division. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting financial reporting processes that help drive data-driven decisions in the agri-tech sector.

The ideal candidate will possess strong bookkeeping expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring financial transparency and efficiency across agricultural projects, farm management platforms, and technology-driven operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accurate financial records including general ledger entries.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and financial transactions regularly.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities for agri-tech projects.

• Monitor operational expenses and ensure compliance with financial policies.

• Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, operations, and project teams.

• Assist with tax preparation and audit documentation when required.

• Maintain digital records of invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.

• Utilize accounting software and financial tools to streamline bookkeeping processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Professional certification in bookkeeping or accounting (preferred but not mandatory).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.

• Strong communication skills for coordinating with remote teams.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in bookkeeping or financial accounting.

• Prior experience working with remote teams or digital accounting platforms is highly desirable.

• Experience in agriculture, agri-tech, sustainability, or startup environments is considered an advantage.

Working Hours
