Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Part-Time Specialized Library Assistant to support the management and organization of specialized research materials, digital resources, and academic collections. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining catalog systems, supporting research requests, and ensuring that library users have efficient access to curated information resources.

Assist in organizing, cataloging, and maintaining specialized print and digital library collections.
Support library users in locating resources, databases, journals, and archival materials.
Manage the classification and indexing of documents using standard cataloging systems.
Maintain accurate records of borrowed materials, digital subscriptions, and resource inventories.
Assist in digitizing physical resources and maintaining digital archives.
Provide research assistance and information retrieval support for internal teams or library visitors.
Monitor and maintain library databases, online repositories, and document management systems.
Coordinate with librarians and knowledge managers to update and expand specialized collections.
Ensure compliance with library policies, copyright regulations, and resource usage guidelines.
Support special library projects, research initiatives, or knowledge management programs.
Bachelors degree in Library Science, Information Science, Literature, or a related field preferred.
Basic understanding of library cataloging systems and classification methods.
Familiarity with digital libraries, academic databases, and research tools.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and document management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
1–3 years of experience working in a library, research center, academic institution, or knowledge management environment preferred.
Experience with cataloging systems such as MARC, Dewey Decimal Classification, or Library of Congress classification is an advantage.
Prior exposure to digital archiving, academic databases, or research assistance roles will be beneficial.
Part-time position with flexible scheduling.
Typically 15–25 hours per week depending on organizational requirements.
May include occasional evening or weekend hours during research projects or library events.
Strong research and information retrieval capabilities.
Ability to handle specialized collections such as technical, academic, or corporate research materials.
Excellent data organization and record management skills.
