Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Part-Time Medical Language Translator to support our global healthcare communication initiatives. In this role, you will translate medical documents, patient information materials, research content, and healthcare communications from one language to another while maintaining the accuracy, tone, and technical integrity of the original text.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of medical terminology, exceptional linguistic abilities, and the ability to ensure culturally appropriate translations. Key Responsibilities

• Translate medical documents, clinical reports, patient instructions, research papers, and healthcare content between assigned languages.

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of medical terminology in all translated materials.

• Review and proofread translated documents to maintain clarity and quality standards.

• Work closely with healthcare professionals, editors, and project managers to ensure context and meaning are preserved.

• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive medical information.

• Adapt translations for cultural and regional relevance without altering the original meaning.

• Meet deadlines and manage translation assignments efficiently.

• Use translation software and terminology databases to improve productivity and consistency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Fluency in at least two languages, including English and another widely used language.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation.

• Excellent written communication and grammar skills.

• Ability to maintain precision and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with translation tools and software such as CAT tools is an advantage.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple translation assignments.

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Linguistics, Translation, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in medical translation or healthcare content translation.

• Prior experience translating clinical documents, medical research, or healthcare communication is highly desirable.

• Certification in professional translation or medical interpretation is a plus.

Working Hours

• Part-Time Position

• Flexible work schedule with approximately 15–25 hours per week depending on project volume.

• Remote work opportunities available with occasional coordination across international time zones.
