Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Remote Mobile App Accessibility Tester to join our growing digital quality assurance team. In this role, you will ensure that our mobile applications are accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. You will work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify accessibility barriers and help create inclusive digital experiences that meet global accessibility standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mobile usability, accessibility guidelines, and testing methodologies. This role plays a critical part in improving the overall user experience and ensuring compliance with recognized accessibility standards across mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accessibility testing for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

• Identify accessibility issues related to screen readers, color contrast, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies.

• Evaluate mobile apps against accessibility standards such as WCAG, platform guidelines, and best practices.

• Document and report accessibility defects clearly with detailed reproduction steps.

• Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to resolve accessibility issues.

• Participate in usability testing with assistive technologies such as screen readers and voice navigation tools.

• Create accessibility test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.

• Verify fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved before product releases.

• Provide accessibility recommendations to improve the overall user experience.

• Support continuous improvement of accessibility processes within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Knowledge of mobile accessibility standards and guidelines such as WCAG 2.1.

• Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies.

• Understanding of mobile operating systems including Android and iOS.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and documentation.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in mobile app testing, QA testing, or accessibility testing.

• Experience using screen readers such as VoiceOver, TalkBack, or similar assistive tools is preferred.

• Previous experience in usability testing or inclusive design environments is a plus.

• Experience working with agile or cross-functional development teams is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position with flexible working hours.

• Standard working schedule of 40 hours per week.
