Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Weekend Destination Wedding Assistant to support our wedding planning and event coordination team. The assistant will work closely with wedding planners, vendors, and clients to ensure every aspect of destination weddings runs smoothly.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional service standards. Since most destination weddings take place during weekends, this role primarily requires weekend availability and occasional travel to event locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead wedding planner in coordinating destination wedding events and activities.

  • Support with venue preparation, décor arrangements, and vendor coordination.

  • Communicate with clients and guests to ensure their needs and expectations are met.

  • Manage event timelines and assist with scheduling for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

  • Help organize transportation, accommodations, and logistics for wedding guests.

  • Ensure all event materials, décor items, and supplies are delivered and set up on time.

  • Assist with guest check-ins and provide on-site support during wedding events.

  • Coordinate with photographers, caterers, florists, and other service providers.

  • Monitor event flow and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.

  • Provide post-event support including vendor follow-ups and event breakdown.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure during live events.

  • Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients and guests.

  • Basic knowledge of event planning and wedding coordination processes.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools is an advantage.


Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, wedding coordination, or customer service is preferred.

  • Fresh graduates with strong organizational skills and enthusiasm for the wedding industry are encouraged to apply.

  • Prior experience assisting with destination events or large gatherings will be considered an added advantage.


Working Hours

  • Primarily weekend-based schedule (Friday evening to Sunday).

  • Flexible hours depending on event timelines.

  • Occasional weekday coordination meetings or preparation tasks may be required.

  • Availability for travel to destination wedding locations when necessary.
