Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Evening Shift Technical Support Specialist – Gaming Console to join our dynamic support team. In this role, you will assist customers in resolving technical issues related to gaming consoles, software updates, connectivity, and account services. You will serve as the primary point of contact for gamers who require assistance, ensuring an excellent support experience while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for gaming console hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to console performance, system updates, controller connectivity, and online gaming services.

  • Assist customers through multiple communication channels including chat, email, and phone support.

  • Document customer issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the support ticketing system.

  • Guide users through installation, configuration, and setup processes for gaming consoles and accessories.

  • Escalate complex technical problems to advanced technical teams when necessary.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gaming console features, firmware updates, and common issues.

  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues efficiently and professionally.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Strong knowledge of gaming consoles, accessories, and online gaming platforms.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English.

  • Ability to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical users.

  • Customer-centric mindset with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as Wi-Fi connectivity, NAT types, and router configurations.


Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in technical support, IT help desk, or customer support roles.

  • Experience supporting gaming consoles, consumer electronics, or entertainment devices is highly preferred.

  • Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and passion for gaming technology are encouraged to apply.


Working Hours

  • Evening Shift: Typically between 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (subject to operational requirements).

  • 5 days per week with rotational weekend support if required.

  • Remote or hybrid work options may be available depending on the project.
