Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and technically curious Weekend EV Battery Health Inspector to support the growing electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and documenting the health and performance of EV battery systems to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance.

The role involves performing diagnostic checks, reviewing battery performance data, and generating reports that help maintain high safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect electric vehicle battery systems to evaluate performance, safety, and overall health.

  • Conduct routine battery diagnostics using specialized monitoring tools and software.

  • Analyze battery performance metrics such as voltage levels, charge cycles, temperature variations, and degradation indicators.

  • Identify potential issues related to battery efficiency, safety risks, or operational anomalies.

  • Document inspection results and prepare detailed technical reports for internal teams.

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to escalate and resolve identified issues.

  • Ensure inspections comply with company safety protocols and industry standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspection schedules, findings, and maintenance recommendations.

  • Stay updated on emerging EV battery technologies and diagnostic techniques.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of electric vehicle systems, lithium-ion batteries, or energy storage technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to interpret technical data and diagnostic reports.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and digital reporting tools.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in automotive inspection, battery technology, electronics, or related technical fields preferred.

  • Fresh graduates with relevant coursework in electrical engineering, automotive technology, or renewable energy are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience with EV diagnostic tools or battery management systems is an added advantage.


Working Hours

  • Part-time weekend position.

  • Saturday and Sunday shifts.

  • Flexible shift options (morning or afternoon).

  • Approximately 10–16 hours per weekend depending on inspection schedules.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of electric vehicle battery architecture and battery management systems (BMS).

  • Ability to identify early signs of battery degradation or performance issues.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

  • Ability to follow safety procedures and compliance guidelines.

  • Adaptability in working with evolving EV technologies and diagnostic platforms.
