Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Remote Catalog Editor – High-End Furniture to join our growing digital merchandising team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, editing, and optimizing product catalog content for premium furniture collections across our e-commerce platforms.

The ideal candidate has strong editorial skills, an eye for design and detail, and the ability to translate technical product information into engaging, customer-friendly content. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure product listings accurately reflect the quality, craftsmanship, and brand identity of our luxury furniture offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit, proofread, and optimize product catalog content for high-end furniture items across digital platforms.

• Ensure product descriptions accurately reflect materials, dimensions, craftsmanship, and design features.

• Maintain consistent tone, style, and brand voice across all catalog listings.

• Collaborate with product, marketing, and design teams to gather accurate product specifications and details.

• Manage and update large volumes of catalog entries while maintaining high quality and accuracy.

• Optimize product content for SEO to improve discoverability and online visibility.

• Review product images, metadata, and specifications to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Conduct regular catalog audits to identify outdated or incorrect information.

• Assist in the launch of new furniture collections by preparing catalog listings and product documentation.

• Monitor competitor product listings and industry trends to improve catalog presentation and messaging.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent written and editing skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of e-commerce product content and catalog management.

• Familiarity with luxury furniture terminology, materials, and design styles.

• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and product information management (PIM) tools.

• Basic knowledge of SEO principles for product descriptions.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a remote environment.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools.

Experience

• Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.

• 2–5 years of experience in catalog editing, product content writing, e-commerce merchandising, or editorial roles.

• Experience working with furniture, home décor, or luxury product catalogs is highly desirable.

• Prior experience in remote or distributed teams is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position.

• Flexible work schedule depending on project requirements.

• Typical working hours: 30–40 hours per week.

• Occasional coordination with international teams across time zones may be required.
