Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Virtual Diabetes Educator to join our growing remote healthcare support team. In this role, you will provide virtual education, guidance, and support to individuals living with diabetes. You will help patients understand their condition, adopt healthy lifestyle habits, and manage blood glucose levels through personalized coaching and evidence-based education.

This position is ideal for healthcare professionals who are passionate about patient education and preventive healthcare. The educator will collaborate with healthcare providers, nutrition specialists, and digital health teams to deliver high-quality remote patient support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual diabetes education sessions through video, phone, or digital health platforms.

• Educate patients on diabetes management, including blood glucose monitoring, medication adherence, diet, and physical activity.

• Develop personalized care plans that support patient lifestyle changes and long-term disease management.

• Guide patients on using glucose monitoring devices, mobile health apps, and digital tracking tools.

• Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up coaching to improve health outcomes.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and dietitians to coordinate patient care strategies.

• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and education plans in electronic health systems.

• Stay updated with the latest diabetes care guidelines and clinical practices.

• Conduct online workshops, webinars, or group sessions focused on diabetes prevention and management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Nursing, Dietetics, Public Health, Health Education, or a related healthcare field.

• Certification as a Diabetes Educator or relevant diabetes care certification is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of diabetes management, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling.

• Excellent communication and patient coaching skills.

• Ability to deliver education in a virtual or telehealth environment.

• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records (EHR), and digital health tools.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support patients.

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in diabetes education, nursing, nutrition counseling, or chronic disease management.

• Experience in telehealth or remote patient education is highly desirable.

• Prior experience working with diverse patient populations is a plus.

Working Hours

• Part-Time Position

• Flexible schedule with approximately 15–25 hours per week.

• May include evening or weekend sessions to accommodate patient availability.

• Fully remote / work-from-home role with online consultations.
