Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Cybersecurity Analyst – Phishing Defense to join our global cybersecurity operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting the organization from phishing attacks, social engineering threats, and email-based cyber risks.

The ideal candidate will analyze suspicious emails, investigate phishing campaigns, implement defensive controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the companys security posture. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies while safeguarding enterprise systems and sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and analyze phishing attempts and malicious email campaigns targeting the organization.

• Investigate suspicious emails, URLs, and attachments using advanced threat analysis tools.

• Respond to phishing incidents and coordinate remediation actions with IT and security teams.

• Conduct threat intelligence research to identify emerging phishing trends and attacker techniques.

• Implement and optimize email security controls, filters, and phishing detection systems.

• Develop and maintain phishing playbooks, incident response procedures, and documentation.

• Provide phishing awareness insights to help strengthen employee security awareness programs.

• Collaborate with security operations teams to improve threat detection and prevention capabilities.

• Generate reports and dashboards detailing phishing incidents, trends, and mitigation outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of phishing attacks, social engineering techniques, and email security threats.

• Knowledge of email security platforms, threat detection tools, and SIEM solutions.

• Familiarity with malware analysis, URL analysis, and phishing investigation methodologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or threat analysis.

• Experience handling phishing investigations or email security incidents.

• Experience with tools such as SIEM platforms, email gateways, or threat intelligence tools is preferred.

• Prior experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time remote position.

• Flexible schedule with coverage aligned to global security operations.

• Occasional participation in on-call security incident response rotations may be required.
