Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Evening Shift Technical Support – Server Operations professional to join our growing technology support team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of server infrastructure, operating systems, and troubleshooting techniques. You will work closely with infrastructure engineers, network teams, and system administrators to identify issues, implement solutions, and support mission-critical systems for global clients.
Monitor and manage server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Provide technical support for Windows and Linux server environments.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues affecting server operations.
Respond to system alerts, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner.
Perform routine server maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and backups.
Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and incident resolutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Support system upgrades, migrations, and deployment of new servers.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and operational standards.
Maintain accurate logs and reports for incident management and system monitoring.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of server infrastructure and system administration.
Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with server monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical issues simultaneously.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in technical support, system administration, or server operations.
Experience working in 24/7 IT support environments or NOC (Network Operations Center) is preferred.
Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is an advantage.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
Evening Shift: Typically between 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (based on project requirements).
Rotational weekend or on-call support may be required.
Fully remote or hybrid work options may be available depending on the project.
