Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Part-Time Library Data Management Clerk to support the accurate management and maintenance of digital and physical library records. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with data, maintaining structured information systems, and supporting knowledge management initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for entering, organizing, verifying, and updating library data across internal databases while ensuring high levels of accuracy and confidentiality. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a flexible, part-time environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update digital library databases and catalog records with accuracy.

  • Enter and verify bibliographic and archival data into the organizations library management systems.

  • Organize digital resources, research materials, and internal knowledge documents.

  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records.

  • Assist in categorizing and indexing documents, journals, and digital assets.

  • Support document retrieval and internal information requests from teams.

  • Monitor data integrity and report inconsistencies or missing information.

  • Ensure proper classification and tagging of library resources for easy accessibility.

  • Follow company policies regarding information security and confidentiality.

  • Assist with basic administrative tasks related to library or knowledge management functions.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree in Library Science, Information Management, or a related field is an advantage.

  • Strong data entry and data management skills.

  • Familiarity with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and database tools.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good organizational and time management abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.


Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in data entry, library administration, records management, or a related role preferred.

  • Freshers with strong organizational skills and an interest in information management are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience working with library cataloging systems or digital document management tools is an added advantage.


Working Hours

  • Part-time position.

  • Flexible schedule of 15–25 hours per week.
