Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Medical Billing Specialist – US Orthopedics to join our growing healthcare revenue cycle management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing medical billing operations related to orthopedic services for U.S.-based healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of U.S. medical billing procedures, orthopedic coding, insurance verification, and claims processing.
This is a fully remote position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic global team while supporting leading orthopedic practices in the United States. The role requires accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to ensure timely reimbursement while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Prepare, review, and submit accurate medical claims for orthopedic services to insurance companies and payers.
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to claim submission.
Perform medical coding validation for orthopedic procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
Monitor claim status and follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure prompt reimbursement.
Resolve billing discrepancies and insurance claim rejections efficiently.
Post payments and adjustments in the billing system while maintaining accurate patient account records.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams to address billing inquiries.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and U.S. healthcare billing standards.
Generate billing reports and analyze accounts receivable for performance improvements.
Bachelors degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Medical Billing, Medical Coding, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare billing procedures and insurance claim processes.
Familiarity with orthopedic billing codes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and claim submission.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in U.S. medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management.
Prior experience with orthopedic billing and coding is highly preferred.
Experience working with U.S. insurance payers such as Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance providers.
Familiarity with denial management, AR follow-up, and claim appeals is an advantage.
Full-time remote position
Must be available to work U.S. shift hours to align with client operations.
