Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Part-Time Overseas Education Counselor to guide students who aspire to pursue higher education abroad. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advising students about international study opportunities, assisting them in selecting suitable universities, and supporting them throughout the admission and application process.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of international education systems, and the ability to build trust with students and parents. As a part-time position, it offers flexibility while providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic and career journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional counseling to students interested in studying abroad in countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

• Assess students academic background, career goals, and financial considerations to recommend suitable universities and programs.

• Guide students through the entire application process including course selection, documentation, and university submissions.

• Assist students with statement of purpose (SOP), resume preparation, and other admission requirements.

• Provide information about visa procedures, scholarships, and financial planning for overseas education.

• Maintain accurate records of student applications and counseling sessions.

• Build relationships with universities and stay updated on admission policies and requirements.

• Conduct online or in-person counseling sessions, seminars, and information sessions.

• Follow up with prospective students to support their enrollment decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of international education systems and admission procedures.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong interpersonal and counseling abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online communication tools.

• Ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously with attention to detail.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in overseas education counseling or a related field.

• Experience working with international university admissions or student recruitment is highly preferred.

• Candidates with prior experience in education consultancy firms or international education platforms will have an advantage.

Working Hours

• Part-Time Position

• Flexible working schedule of 20–25 hours per week.

• Availability during evenings or weekends may be required to accommodate student consultations.

• Remote or hybrid work options may be available depending on operational needs.
