Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Home Sample Collection Assistant to support our healthcare and diagnostic service operations. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting patients at their homes to collect medical samples such as blood, urine, or other diagnostic specimens safely and professionally.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about healthcare services, enjoy interacting with people, and want flexible part-time work in a fast-growing health-tech environment. The successful candidate will ensure that all samples are collected, labeled, stored, and transported according to established medical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit patients homes according to scheduled appointments to collect diagnostic samples.

• Follow proper medical and hygiene protocols while collecting samples.

• Verify patient details and ensure accurate labeling of collected samples.

• Maintain proper documentation of sample collection and patient information.

• Ensure safe packaging and transportation of samples to the designated laboratory.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of medical equipment and collection kits.

• Communicate professionally with patients and provide clear instructions when needed.

• Report any irregularities or issues during the collection process to the supervisor.

• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and privacy regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic certification or training in Phlebotomy, Medical Lab Technology, Nursing, or related healthcare field is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality.

• Basic understanding of medical sample handling procedures.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Familiarity with using mobile applications for scheduling and reporting is an advantage.

Experience

• Freshers with relevant medical training are welcome to apply.

• 1–2 years of experience in sample collection, diagnostic labs, or healthcare services will be an added advantage.

• Experience in home healthcare services is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Part-time role with flexible working hours.

• Typically 3–5 hours per day, depending on scheduled appointments.

• Availability during morning or early evening slots may be required.

• Weekend availability may be preferred based on patient demand.
