Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Remote Digital Banking Assistant – KYC Support to join our growing digital operations team. In this role, you will assist in verifying customer identities, reviewing documentation, and ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations for digital banking services. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining regulatory compliance while delivering a seamless onboarding experience for customers.

This is a fully remote opportunity suited for individuals who are organized, analytical, and comfortable working with digital financial systems and documentation. You will collaborate with compliance, customer support, and risk teams to ensure that all client accounts meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify customer identity documents submitted for account opening and updates.

  • Perform KYC and customer due diligence checks in accordance with regulatory standards.

  • Identify discrepancies, incomplete submissions, or potential compliance risks in customer profiles.

  • Maintain accurate digital records of verification processes and documentation.

  • Escalate suspicious activities or compliance concerns to the compliance team.

  • Assist customers and internal teams with KYC-related inquiries.

  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, data protection standards, and financial regulations.

  • Support ongoing account monitoring and periodic KYC reviews.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial information responsibly.

  • Proficiency in digital tools, spreadsheets, and document verification systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to follow regulatory procedures and compliance protocols.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a remote work environment.


Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in banking operations, compliance, customer onboarding, or KYC verification.

  • Fresh graduates with knowledge of financial compliance and digital banking processes are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience with fintech platforms, banking software, or digital verification tools is an advantage.


Working Hours

  • Fully remote position.

  • Flexible shift options depending on regional banking operations.

  • Typically 20–40 hours per week with potential weekend support when required.
