Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Evening Shift Content Moderator – Gaming Chat to help maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment within our online gaming communities. In this role, you will monitor live chat discussions, user-generated content, and community interactions to ensure they comply with platform guidelines and community standards.

The ideal candidate is passionate about gaming, understands online community culture, and has the ability to quickly identify inappropriate or harmful content. You will work closely with the Trust & Safety and Community Management teams to enforce policies, escalate serious issues, and ensure a positive user experience for players around the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live gaming chat rooms, forums, and in-game communication channels during evening shifts.

• Review user-generated content to ensure compliance with community guidelines and platform policies.

• Identify and remove content that includes harassment, hate speech, spam, scams, or inappropriate language.

• Issue warnings, temporary restrictions, or account actions according to moderation policies.

• Escalate serious or sensitive issues to senior moderators or the Trust & Safety team.

• Maintain detailed moderation logs and incident reports for review and compliance purposes.

• Respond to user reports and investigate flagged messages or accounts.

• Support community engagement by encouraging respectful discussions and positive behavior.

• Stay updated with moderation guidelines, gaming trends, and emerging online risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong written communication skills in English.

• Familiarity with online gaming culture and chat platforms.

• Ability to make quick and fair moderation decisions.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

• Basic knowledge of community moderation tools and reporting systems.

• Ability to handle sensitive or offensive content professionally.

• Good time management and multitasking abilities.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in content moderation, community management, customer support, or social media moderation.

• Experience moderating gaming communities, forums, Discord servers, or online platforms is highly preferred.

• Freshers with strong gaming knowledge and communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Evening Shift: Typically between 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

• Part-time or full-time opportunities may be available depending on operational needs.

• Weekend availability may be required based on gaming activity levels.
