Startup Inno is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Weekend Wind Farm Site Safety Assistant to support safety operations at our wind energy facilities. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about renewable energy and workplace safety. The successful candidate will assist the on-site safety team in monitoring safety procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and helping maintain a secure working environment during weekend operations.
As part of the growing renewable energy sector, you will play an important role in supporting wind farm technicians, contractors, and site managers by ensuring that all safety standards and operational protocols are followed. This is a weekend-focused position designed for individuals looking for part-time work while contributing to sustainable energy development.
Assist the site safety officer in implementing and maintaining workplace safety procedures.
Conduct routine safety inspections across wind turbine areas, access roads, and maintenance zones.
Monitor personnel adherence to safety guidelines and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Help document safety observations, incidents, and near-miss reports.
Support emergency response preparedness by ensuring safety equipment is available and functional.
Maintain clear communication with technicians, contractors, and supervisors regarding safety concerns.
Assist with visitor check-ins and ensure safety briefings are provided before site access.
Help maintain site safety logs, reports, and documentation as required.
Participate in safety meetings and contribute suggestions to improve workplace safety standards.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in safety management or environmental health is a plus.
Basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures and hazard identification.
Strong attention to detail and ability to observe potential safety risks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow structured safety protocols and guidelines.
Comfortable working outdoors in wind farm environments.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Previous experience in construction, renewable energy, site supervision, or industrial safety is preferred but not mandatory.
Entry-level candidates with strong interest in workplace safety and renewable energy are encouraged to apply.
Training in safety procedures and wind farm operations will be provided to the selected candidate.
Schedule: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Shift Duration: 6–8 hours per day depending on site requirements
