Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Remote DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Operations team. This role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), and 24/7 system monitoring to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of mission-critical platforms.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to automate infrastructure, streamline deployment processes, and maintain high system availability across cloud environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, proactive monitoring, and building reliable systems that support global digital products.
Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery and automated deployments.
Monitor systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance across cloud platforms.
Participate in 24/7 monitoring operations, responding to alerts, incidents, and performance issues.
Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment strategies and infrastructure scalability.
Implement security best practices across infrastructure, including access control and compliance policies.
Troubleshoot system failures, performance bottlenecks, and infrastructure-related issues.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, deployment processes, and monitoring frameworks.
Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve DevOps efficiency.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or New Relic.
Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Familiarity with Linux system administration and networking concepts.
3–6 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
Proven experience managing production systems and automated infrastructure deployments.
Experience working in distributed or remote engineering teams is highly preferred.
Prior exposure to 24/7 monitoring environments or incident response teams is advantageous.
This is a remote role with flexible working arrangements.
Candidates must be available to participate in a 24/7 monitoring rotation schedule, including occasional night or weekend shifts depending on team assignments.
Standard weekly workload: 40 hours per week with on-call rotation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex infrastructure environments.
Ability to automate repetitive operational tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently in a remote, globally distributed environment.
Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, and security principles.
