Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly knowledgeable and forward-thinking AI Ethicist & Compliance Officer to join our global technology and governance team. This remote position focuses on ensuring that all artificial intelligence systems developed, deployed, or integrated by the company comply with global ethical standards, regulatory frameworks, and governance policies—particularly the European AI Act.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in evaluating AI systems for ethical risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and establishing governance frameworks that align with international standards. You will collaborate with engineering teams, legal advisors, data scientists, and product leaders to ensure that AI technologies are transparent, fair, accountable, and aligned with societal values.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with international AI regulations, particularly the European AI Act and related frameworks.

• Develop and implement internal AI ethics guidelines, governance policies, and risk assessment protocols.

• Conduct ethical impact assessments for AI systems, including bias analysis, fairness evaluation, and transparency reviews.

• Collaborate with product development and data science teams to ensure responsible AI design and deployment.

• Lead internal audits and compliance checks for AI-based products and machine learning models.

• Advise executive leadership on regulatory trends, AI governance frameworks, and compliance strategies.

• Establish AI risk classification procedures aligned with regulatory standards.

• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on privacy, data protection, and algorithmic accountability.

• Deliver training sessions and workshops to educate internal teams on AI ethics and regulatory responsibilities.

• Maintain documentation for regulatory reporting and compliance readiness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Law, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Public Policy, Ethics, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of AI governance frameworks, regulatory policy, and compliance mechanisms.

• Familiarity with European AI Act regulations and global AI policy initiatives.

• Understanding of machine learning systems, algorithmic decision-making, and AI lifecycle management.

• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical implementation strategies.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience creating compliance documentation and risk assessment frameworks.

• Strong ethical reasoning and policy interpretation capabilities.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in AI governance, technology policy, compliance, or regulatory advisory roles.

• Experience working with AI or machine learning systems in enterprise environments.

• Prior experience in technology companies, consulting firms, regulatory agencies, or policy institutions is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience implementing or advising on AI ethics frameworks or compliance programs.
