Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Cloud Solutions Architect to join our remote technology team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure platforms, while leveraging modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, automation, security, and high-availability infrastructure. You will collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to build reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions that support mission-critical applications across global environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud deployments.

• Architect and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and related tools.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

• Evaluate and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Implement best practices in cloud security, governance, and compliance.

• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise environments to cloud platforms.

• Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend improvements.

• Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

• Create detailed documentation for architecture designs, processes, and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related field.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation.

• Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.

• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of cloud networking, security frameworks, and identity management.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed work environment.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or cloud architecture roles.

• Proven track record of designing and deploying large-scale cloud infrastructure.

• Experience working with microservices architecture and containerized environments.

• Prior experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments is highly preferred.

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are a strong advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time remote position.

• Flexible working hours with partial overlap with global teams.

• Occasional availability for system deployment windows or infrastructure maintenance activities.
