Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Freelance UI/UX Designer to lead the redesign of our mobile application. This project-based role is ideal for a design professional who is passionate about crafting intuitive, visually engaging, and user-centered digital experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to transform user insights into elegant design solutions that enhance usability, engagement, and overall product performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct UX research, competitor analysis, and usability evaluations to identify improvement opportunities.

• Redesign existing app flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI screens.

• Create user personas, journey maps, and information architecture.

• Develop interactive prototypes for stakeholder review and user testing.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate design implementation.

• Maintain and evolve the design system, style guides, and UI components.

• Iterate designs based on feedback, analytics, and usability findings.

• Ensure responsive and accessible design best practices are followed.

• Present design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile app UI/UX redesign projects.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

• Knowledge of mobile platform guidelines (iOS and Android).

• Ability to balance aesthetics with usability and performance.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage project timelines independently in a remote environment.

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.

• Proven experience working on mobile app redesign or optimization projects.

• Experience working with startups or agile product teams is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated success delivering freelance or project-based design work.

Working Hours

• Flexible, project-based engagement.
