Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Remote Blockchain Developer to join our fast-growing DeFi and Crypto team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts that power next-generation financial solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performance blockchain systems that support our global digital finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts for DeFi protocols.

• Build and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) on blockchain platforms.

• Collaborate with product managers, security teams, and backend developers to deliver robust blockchain solutions.

• Optimize blockchain performance, gas efficiency, and transaction throughput.

• Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for smart contract security.

• Integrate blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems and APIs.

• Monitor network upgrades, crypto trends, and emerging DeFi innovations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve blockchain-related technical issues.

• Contribute to technical documentation and architecture design.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or similar smart contract languages.

• Experience with Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, or other EVM-compatible chains.

• Solid understanding of DeFi protocols (DEXs, lending, staking, liquidity pools).

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Web3 libraries (Web3.js, Ethers.js).

• Familiarity with cryptography principles and blockchain consensus mechanisms.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Experience

• Minimum 3–6 years of software development experience.

• At least 2+ years of hands-on blockchain or Web3 development experience.

• Proven track record of deploying smart contracts to mainnet or testnet environments.

• Experience working in fintech, crypto, or DeFi environments is highly preferred.

• Prior remote work experience is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position with flexibility.

• Core collaboration hours aligned with the Penang team (Malaysia Time).

• Occasional availability for global team meetings may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155).

• Strong awareness of smart contract vulnerabilities and security best practices.

• Ability to work independently in a distributed team environment.

• High attention to detail and commitment to code quality.

• Adaptability to rapidly evolving crypto and DeFi landscapes.
