Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled Remote Cloud Engineer to support the stability, performance, and scalability of our global data center hub infrastructure. This role is responsible for maintaining cloud environments, ensuring high availability, optimizing system performance, and supporting mission-critical operations across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure expertise with proactive monitoring and automation capabilities, thriving in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud and data center infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

  • Manage and support hybrid cloud environments across leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning for data center hubs.

  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.

  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and performance issues.

  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Network teams to ensure secure and compliant environments.

  • Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

  • Support incident response and participate in on-call rotation when required.

  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements for system resilience and cost efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

  • Solid understanding of data center operations, virtualization, and distributed systems.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.

  • Good knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls).

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar.

  • Experience with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


Experience

  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure operations, or data center support.

  • Proven track record managing production cloud environments.

  • Experience working in remote or globally distributed teams is preferred.

  • Prior exposure to high-availability or mission-critical systems is highly desirable.


Working Hours

  • Fully remote role.

  • Flexible schedule aligned with global operations.

  • May require participation in an on-call rotation and occasional off-hours maintenance windows.
