  • Perform quality control, preprocessing, and integration of sequencing data (e.g., WGS, RNA-seq, single-cell).

  • Collaborate with research scientists to interpret results and support experimental design.

  • Develop and optimize algorithms for variant calling, gene expression analysis, and functional annotation.

  • Create clear visualizations, dashboards, and technical reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the development of internal data platforms and reproducible research workflows.

  • Stay current with advances in bioinformatics, genomics, and AI-driven biological analysis.

  • Support publication efforts, grant proposals, and intellectual property development as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Genomics, or a related quantitative field.

  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.

  • Experience working with high-throughput sequencing data and genomic analysis tools.

  • Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning, and data mining techniques.

  • Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and cloud computing platforms.

  • Experience with workflow management tools (e.g., Nextflow, Snakemake) is preferred.

  • Strong data visualization and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, collaborative environments.

Experience

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in bioinformatics, computational genomics, or related roles.

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing large-scale genomic or multi-omics datasets.

  • Prior experience in biotech, healthcare, pharma, or research institutions is highly desirable.

  • Publication record or contributions to open-source bioinformatics projects is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.

  • Flexible work schedule with core collaboration hours.

  • Hybrid or remote work options available based on project needs and location.
