Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) fine-tuning. In this strategic role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced AI models that power next-generation intelligent products. Lead end-to-end development of GenAI and LLM-based solutions from research to production.
Fine-tune large language models using domain-specific datasets and advanced training techniques.
Design prompt engineering strategies and evaluation frameworks for model performance.
Build scalable data pipelines for preprocessing, training, and inference workflows.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate AI capabilities into applications.
Optimize models for latency, cost efficiency, and real-world performance.
Conduct experiments, A/B testing, and model benchmarking.
Ensure responsible AI practices including bias mitigation, safety, and compliance.
Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to AI best practices within the organization.
Stay current with the latest advancements in GenAI, LLMs, and deep learning research.
Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
Strong programming proficiency in Python.
Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Proven expertise in fine-tuning large language models (e.g., GPT-style, transformer-based models).
Experience with prompt engineering, RLHF, LoRA, PEFT, or similar techniques.
Solid understanding of NLP, transformers, embeddings, and vector databases.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with MLOps practices and model deployment pipelines.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI roles.
Minimum 2+ years working specifically with GenAI or LLM technologies.
Demonstrated experience deploying ML models into production environments.
Experience in startup or fast-paced environments is a strong plus.
Publications or open-source contributions in AI/ML are desirable.
