Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Planner to join our remote e-commerce supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels across multiple distribution channels to ensure product availability, minimize stockouts, and control excess inventory. You will work closely with procurement, operations, and sales teams to develop accurate forecasts and implement inventory strategies that drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotional plans.

• Create and implement inventory replenishment strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.

• Monitor inventory performance metrics, including stockouts, overstocks, and inventory turnover, and take corrective actions as needed.

• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure timely product availability.

• Analyze product lifecycle and seasonality trends to adjust inventory planning accordingly.

• Assist in planning and managing new product launches, discontinuations, and seasonal campaigns.

• Utilize inventory management software and ERP systems to maintain accurate stock records.

• Provide regular reports and insights to senior management regarding inventory performance and forecast accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in inventory planning, forecasting, and reporting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems (ERP experience preferred).

• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify risks and recommend solutions.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or demand planning roles, preferably in e-commerce or retail sectors.

• Hands-on experience with forecasting tools, ERP systems, and inventory optimization techniques.

• Proven track record of managing inventory effectively to reduce stockouts and excess inventory.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.
