Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist – Remote Lab Solutions to join our growing digital healthcare division. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about laboratory science and innovative healthcare technologies. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting diagnostic services through remote laboratory systems, ensuring accurate testing, quality control, and compliance with clinical standards.

You will collaborate with clinicians, data analysts, and health IT teams to optimize virtual lab workflows, support telehealth diagnostics, and contribute to improving patient outcomes through technology-enabled laboratory services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and validate laboratory test results using remote and digital lab platforms.

  • Analyze biological specimens including blood, urine, tissue, and other samples.

  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of diagnostic data.

  • Monitor and maintain quality control procedures for remote lab systems.

  • Troubleshoot technical or analytical issues related to lab testing.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and health informatics teams.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, ISO, HIPAA).

  • Document procedures, test results, and quality metrics accurately.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for virtual lab operations.

  • Train junior staff and provide technical guidance when required.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Pathology, or related field.

  • Professional certification such as ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory instruments and diagnostic technologies.

  • Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.


Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

  • Prior experience with digital or remote laboratory systems is highly preferred.

  • Experience in telehealth, diagnostic platforms, or healthcare IT environments is an advantage.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.

  • Standard business hours with flexible scheduling options.

  • May require occasional availability for urgent diagnostic support or cross-time-zone collaboration.
