Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer – Remote Core Banking (NextGen) to join our growing digital banking and financial services technology team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and enhancing next-generation core banking platforms that power modern financial institutions.

You will work on high-impact projects involving scalable, secure, and high-performance systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative banking solutions used by customers across global markets. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java-based applications for core banking systems.

• Build and enhance microservices and APIs to support digital banking products.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of applications.

• Perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term fixes.

• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technology roadmaps.

• Implement best practices for CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing.

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data security, and audit standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java (Java 8+ / Java 11 / Java 17).

• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.

• Experience in building microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.

• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.

• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean code practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience

• 6+ years of professional experience in Java application development.

• At least 3+ years of experience working with banking or financial services systems.

• Proven experience in core banking, digital banking, or payment systems is highly preferred.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Flexible working hours with overlap required for global team collaboration.

• Standard workload: 40 hours per week.
