Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our growing technology team. This remote role is ideal for an experienced quality assurance professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality software products and driving excellence across the entire software development lifecycle.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of functionality, performance, security, and user experience. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain both manual and automated testing frameworks while mentoring junior QA team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across web, mobile, and enterprise applications.

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and performance testing.

• Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.

• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.

• Collaborate with development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews.

• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend quality improvements.

• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and promote best practices.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in both manual and automation testing.

• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation.

• Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.

• Prior experience in SaaS, cloud-based, or enterprise applications is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.
