Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Remote Data Scientist to join our growing global team. As a Remote Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in shaping business outcomes by applying advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and statistical techniques. This is a fully remote opportunity, offering flexibility and exposure to global projects across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources.

• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models for prediction, classification, and optimization tasks.

• Design and implement data pipelines and automated workflows.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions.

• Build dashboards and reports to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Optimize model performance and ensure scalability and reliability.

• Document processes, methodologies, and results for knowledge sharing.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning.

• Hands-on experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.

• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra.

• Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

• Knowledge of SQL and working with relational and non-relational databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Understanding of data engineering concepts and ETL pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics roles.

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end data science projects in a business environment.

• Experience working in a remote or distributed team is a plus.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position with flexible working hours.

• Standard expectation of 40 hours per week.
