Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and highly strategic Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to support fast-growing startups and emerging businesses with world-class financial leadership. This remote role is designed for a senior finance professional who can operate at executive level, providing financial direction, investor-ready insights, and scalable financial systems without the need for a full-time CFO commitment.

As a Fractional CFO, you will partner directly with founders, CEOs, and executive teams to drive financial performance, optimize cash flow, and build robust financial strategies that enable sustainable growth. You will play a critical role in shaping business decisions, supporting fundraising efforts, and ensuring financial health across diverse startup portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted financial advisor to founders and leadership teams.

• Develop and implement short-term and long-term financial strategies.

• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.

• Provide cash flow management and runway analysis.

• Prepare investor reports, pitch deck financials, and board presentations.

• Oversee financial operations, accounting processes, and compliance.

• Design KPIs and financial dashboards for performance tracking.

• Support fundraising activities including due diligence and valuation.

• Optimize cost structures, pricing strategies, and profitability.

• Identify financial risks and provide mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

• CPA, CFA, or MBA is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in strategic finance leadership roles.

• Strong financial modeling and forecasting expertise.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• High proficiency in financial tools and ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, etc.).

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial analytics skills.

• Strong understanding of startup ecosystems and growth metrics.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or corporate strategy.

• 3+ years in a senior leadership role such as CFO, VP Finance, or Finance Director.

• Prior experience working with startups, scale-ups, or venture-backed companies.

• Demonstrated success in fundraising, M&A, or investor relations.

Working Hours

• Fully remote and flexible working hours.

• Part-time / fractional engagement (10–25 hours per week depending on client needs).

• Must be available for regular leadership meetings across global time zones.

• Deep knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

• Strong understanding of SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, or tech startup models.

• Ability to translate complex financial data into business insights.

• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
