Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled Remote Translator – Technical Spanish to English to support our growing portfolio of international clients and internal technical teams. This role is ideal for a professional linguist who excels in translating complex technical content from Spanish into clear, accurate, and natural English. You will play a critical role in ensuring that technical documentation, software content, training materials, and business communications are accessible and precise for English-speaking audiences worldwide.

As a remote team member, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject-matter experts to deliver high-quality translations that maintain technical integrity, cultural relevance, and linguistic accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate technical documents from Spanish to English, including manuals, specifications, user guides, reports, and software-related content.

• Ensure consistency in terminology, tone, and style across all translated materials.

• Review and proofread translated texts for accuracy, grammar, and technical correctness.

• Collaborate with technical teams to clarify complex concepts and ensure precise interpretation.

• Maintain and update glossaries and terminology databases.

• Meet deadlines while managing multiple translation projects simultaneously.

• Adapt translations for different audiences, ensuring clarity and usability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in English and fluent proficiency in Spanish.

• Strong command of technical terminology in IT, engineering, software, or related fields.

• Excellent written communication skills in English.

• Ability to translate complex technical content accurately and clearly.

• Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar).

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

• Minimum of 2–4 years of professional translation experience, preferably in technical or IT domains.

• Proven experience translating technical documents from Spanish to English.

• Experience working with global or multicultural teams is a plus.
