Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Grant Researcher – Sustainable Innovation Funds to support our mission of driving impact through sustainability, innovation, and global development initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and tracking funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, international organizations, and private institutions that support projects related to sustainability, climate innovation, green technology, social impact, and research & development.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong research capabilities, excellent writing skills, and a passion for sustainable development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, sustainability experts, finance teams, and leadership to ensure a strong funding pipeline for high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research to identify relevant grant opportunities in areas such as sustainability, climate change, renewable energy, ESG, innovation, and social impact.

• Monitor funding portals, databases, government websites, and foundation announcements for new and recurring grants.

• Analyze eligibility criteria, funding priorities, deadlines, and compliance requirements for each opportunity.

• Maintain a structured database of grant opportunities, deadlines, contacts, and submission status.

• Prepare grant summaries, funding briefs, and opportunity reports for internal stakeholders.

• Support proposal development by providing background research, funder profiles, and strategic insights.

• Track trends in global funding for sustainability and innovation sectors.

• Collaborate with internal teams to align funding opportunities with organizational goals and projects.

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all research deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, International Relations, Business, Research, or a related field.

• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

• Familiarity with online research tools, grant databases, and funding portals.

• Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in grant research, funding analysis, academic research, policy research, or business research.

• Experience working with sustainability, nonprofit, research institutions, startups, or innovation-driven organizations is highly desirable.

• Prior experience supporting grant proposals or funding applications is a strong advantage.

• Fresh graduates with strong research skills and relevant academic background may also be considered.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position.

• Flexible working hours with core overlap based on global team needs.

• Expected workload: 30–40 hours per week depending on project requirements.
