Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly detail-oriented and certified Remote Health Insurance Coder (CPC Certified – Bilingual) to join our growing global healthcare operations team. As a Remote Health Insurance Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning appropriate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services in accordance with regulatory standards. Your bilingual skills will enable effective communication with diverse stakeholders and enhance documentation accuracy across international healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records, physician notes, and clinical documentation.

• Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific guidelines.

• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation when needed.

• Perform coding audits and quality checks to maintain accuracy standards.

• Support billing teams by resolving coding-related claim issues.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and healthcare policies.

• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software efficiently.

• Prepare coding reports and documentation for internal and external audits.

• Collaborate with international teams in a remote work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification (mandatory).

• Bilingual proficiency (English plus one additional language).

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

• Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and medical coding tools.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in medical coding or health insurance coding.

• Experience working with insurance claims and reimbursement processes.

• Prior remote work experience is a strong advantage.

• Experience with US healthcare systems is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Standard working hours: 40 hours per week.
