Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Go Developer to join our distributed engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems that power mission-critical applications used by global clients. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and other senior engineers to build resilient services capable of handling large-scale traffic and complex business logic.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go (Golang).

• Architect scalable microservices and distributed systems.

• Optimize system performance, latency, and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Implement and manage APIs (REST/gRPC).

• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

• Ensure security, scalability, and data integrity across systems.

• Participate in system design discussions and technical decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang).

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC.

• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Strong knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and performance tuning.

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills in English.

Experience

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Go in production environments.

• Proven experience building high-traffic, scalable systems.

• Experience working in remote or distributed teams is a plus.

• Background in fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, or large-scale enterprise systems preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).

• Flexible working hours with overlap across global time zones.
