Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Planner to join our remote E-commerce Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels across multiple online sales channels, ensuring product availability while minimizing excess stock and operational costs. You will work closely with demand planning, procurement, operations, and sales teams to support data-driven decisions that enhance customer satisfaction and business performance in a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate inventory plans based on demand forecasts, sales trends, and seasonality.

• Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and fulfillment centers to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to improve forecasting accuracy.

• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock.

• Manage safety stock levels and reorder points for key SKUs.

• Prepare regular inventory performance reports and dashboards for management.

• Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory and propose corrective actions.

• Support product launches and promotions with inventory readiness planning.

• Continuously improve inventory planning processes using automation and analytics tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).

• Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management tools.

• Strong understanding of demand forecasting and inventory optimization principles.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, demand planning, or related roles.

• Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environments is highly preferred.

• Experience working in a global or multi-region supply chain is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time remote role.

• Standard working hours aligned with business operations (typically 40 hours per week).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of supply chain metrics (inventory turnover, fill rate, service level).

• Ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable plans.

• Knowledge of forecasting models and inventory planning methodologies.

• Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
