Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Remote Bookkeeper – Certified US Tax & QuickBooks to join our growing global finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in US accounting standards, tax compliance, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with US tax regulations, and supporting accurate financial reporting for our international operations.

As a remote role, this position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones while contributing to a fast-paced, technology-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Handle US tax-related tasks including federal and state filings, sales tax, payroll tax, and year-end tax preparation.

• Manage bank and credit card reconciliations.

• Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal financial policies.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.

• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax reviews.

• Maintain financial documentation and ensure data integrity within QuickBooks.

• Provide financial insights and reports to management to support business decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Professional certification in US accounting or taxation (CPA, EA, or equivalent preferred).

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop).

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US tax regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

• Proven experience handling US clients and US tax compliance.

• Experience working in a remote or international environment is highly desirable.

• Background in technology, consulting, or multinational companies is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Standard working hours aligned with US business time zones (flexible depending on location).

• Occasional extended hours during month-end or tax filing periods.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Strong command of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and cloud-based accounting tools.

• Knowledge of payroll systems and US tax software.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial data.
