Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Cloud Security Architect – Remote Zero-Trust Governance to lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure cloud environments across our global digital ecosystem. This role is critical in shaping the organizations cloud security posture by embedding Zero-Trust principles into architecture, policies, and operations.

As a Cloud Security Architect, you will work closely with enterprise architects, DevOps teams, compliance officers, and business stakeholders to ensure that all cloud platforms are resilient, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices. You will act as a trusted advisor on security architecture, driving innovation while mitigating cyber risks in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cloud security architectures based on Zero-Trust principles across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Define and implement security frameworks, policies, and standards for cloud infrastructure and applications.

• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for new and existing cloud initiatives.

• Architect identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, encryption, and endpoint security solutions.

• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor emerging threats and recommend proactive security improvements.

• Support regulatory compliance requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for cloud security incidents and response strategies.

• Mentor security engineers and provide architectural guidance across global teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Deep understanding of Zero-Trust Architecture and security governance models.

• Proficiency in IAM, CASB, SIEM, SOAR, and cloud-native security tools.

• Solid knowledge of networking, encryption, key management, and API security.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate technical risks into business impact.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4+ years in cloud security architecture.

• Proven experience designing enterprise-level security frameworks.

• Experience working in remote or distributed global teams is preferred.

• Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, SaaS, or e-commerce) is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Fully remote role with flexible working hours.

• Occasional on-call support for critical security incidents.
