Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Business Partner – Specialist Investigations to join our global Human Resources team in a fully remote capacity. This role is critical in ensuring a fair, compliant, and ethical workplace by leading complex employee relations cases, internal investigations, and compliance matters across multiple regions.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, managers, and employees, providing expert guidance on sensitive people issues, workplace conduct, grievance handling, and policy enforcement. You will play a key role in safeguarding organizational culture, mitigating risk, and ensuring that all investigations are conducted with integrity, objectivity, and in alignment with global employment laws and internal policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex HR investigations, including misconduct, harassment, discrimination, whistleblower complaints, and policy violations.

  • Conduct thorough and impartial fact-finding, including interviews, evidence collection, and documentation.

  • Prepare investigation reports with clear findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations.

  • Advise senior leadership on investigation outcomes, disciplinary actions, and corrective measures.

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Ethics teams to ensure regulatory and legal adherence.

  • Act as a subject-matter expert in employee relations and workplace investigations.

  • Develop and improve investigation frameworks, processes, and best practices.

  • Train managers and HR teams on handling sensitive cases and escalation procedures.

  • Ensure confidentiality, fairness, and consistency in all employee relations matters.

  • Monitor trends and proactively identify systemic risks within the organization.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in employee relations, HR investigations, and workplace compliance.

  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent interviewing, analytical, and report-writing skills.

  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.

  • Ability to manage sensitive issues with empathy and objectivity.

  • Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Proficiency in HR systems and case management tools.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.


Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).

  • 6–10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in investigations or employee relations.

  • Proven experience handling complex and high-risk workplace cases in large or multinational organizations.

  • Experience working in a global or matrixed environment is highly desirable.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.
