Global MNC Tech, a leading multinational technology company, is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Independent SEO Strategist to support our retail-focused initiatives across the APAC region. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to drive organic growth, optimize digital presence, and deliver measurable results for some of the most recognized retail brands in the market. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in SEO, analytics, and APAC market trends.
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to APAC retail markets.
Conduct detailed keyword research, competitor analysis, and website audits to identify opportunities for organic growth.
Optimize on-page and off-page SEO elements, including content, meta-data, internal linking, and technical SEO aspects.
Monitor SEO performance, provide actionable insights, and create reports with KPIs to track organic growth and ROI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, web developers, and marketing managers, to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in campaigns.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and retail industry shifts in the APAC region to maintain competitive advantage.
Recommend and execute strategies for local search optimization across multiple APAC markets.
Proven expertise in SEO strategy development, implementation, and measurement.
Strong understanding of APAC retail market dynamics, trends, and consumer behavior.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
Solid knowledge of technical SEO, including site structure, page speed, schema markup, and mobile optimization.
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present strategies and results to senior stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO, preferably with a focus on retail or e-commerce markets.
Demonstrated success in driving organic growth for APAC-based clients or markets.
Experience in managing multi-market or multilingual SEO campaigns is highly desirable.
Fully remote position; flexibility to accommodate APAC time zones.
Expected availability for virtual meetings and collaboration with regional teams during standard business hours in the APAC region.
Deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Ability to design and execute strategies for both organic search and content optimization.
Strong project management skills and capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
