Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Inventory Planner to join our remote E-commerce Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal inventory levels across multiple channels, balancing customer demand with operational efficiency. This role is critical in minimizing stockouts and overstock, improving turnover rates, and supporting the companys growth in a dynamic e-commerce environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory forecasts using historical data, market trends, and demand signals.

  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.

  • Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to synchronize supply chain activities.

  • Analyze sales trends and provide actionable insights to improve inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.

  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and implement strategies for liquidation or optimization.

  • Assist in planning seasonal promotions, product launches, and other demand spikes.

  • Prepare regular inventory reports and present key findings to senior management.

  • Continuously improve inventory management processes through automation, reporting, and analytics tools.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.

  • Strong proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).

  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.


Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain management, or demand planning.

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, multi-channel retail, or global supply chains is highly preferred.

  • Proven track record of improving inventory accuracy, reducing stockouts, and optimizing stock levels.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position with flexible working hours aligned with Global MNC Techs operational needs.

  • Occasional overlap with international teams may be required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Deep understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.

  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to drive strategic decisions.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the e-commerce market dynamics.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

  • Comfortable using collaborative tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and project management software.
